The Governing Body has overall responsibility for the effective managing of the school. They meet several times a year under the leadership of the Chair of Governors. They are responsible for the strategic vision of the school, effective spending and play a key role in the appointment of staff, development of the premises and monitoring of standards. As well as meetings with the full board, much of the governors’ work is delegated to committees: finance, curriculum and achievement, and admissions.
